Smoothie Bowl v1You’ve heard me talk about life changing green smoothies but how about a green smoothie bowl?

Instead of eating ice cream I opt for a smoothie and my body thanks me.

Delicious and just as easy. Plus, if you’re looking to bring more creativity and fun into your life (like I am) they’re PERFECT.

Not only are these bowls filled with nutritional goodness, but you can also create a design on top which is super fun. It’s also a great way to get your kids to get veggies.

This post is dedicated to my amazing friends who traveled to Atlanta for a baby shower extravaganza. Some of the friends were skeptical as we added fruit and greens to the blender, but they were pleasantly surprised;)

This past month I’ve been fortunate to celebrate the life growing inside my belly with a family, then friend baby shower and the Happy Body Pay-What-You-Can-Day.

The Pay-What-You-Can-Day was a success, and I’m excited for the new group of Happy Body students to start feeling more connected and in tune with their body than ever before. I’ll be taking the program off the market in August, so if you still want to join us, you still can. Click HERE for more details and to get instant access.

These bowls are Happy Body friendly. Enjoy!

Berry Banana Green Smoothie Bowl

Serves 2

Ingredients

  • 2 cups strawberries*
  • 1 banana*
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 2 cups spinach
  • ½ avocado
  • ½-1 cup almond milk

Instructions

Layer milk, spinach, banana, avocado and berries in a blender. Blend until smooth and add more almond milk if needed. The smoothie bowl should be thicker than your usual green smoothie since you’ll be eating it with a spoon and placing fruit on top (you don’t want the fruit to sink.)

Pour into bowls and top with your favorite fruits, nuts, seeds or super foods.

Topping Ideas

  • Chia seeds
  • Kiwi, strawberries, blueberries, bananas
  • Cashews, pumpkin seeds or other nuts/seeds
  • Coconut flakes
  • Hemp hearts

*Use either a frozen banana or strawberries to make your bowl cold.

Please share pictures of your smoothie bowls with the Embrace Wellbeing FB group. Not connect yet? Ask to join the group, it’s free!
