How did you sleep?
I tossed and turned last night and was quite anxious. I soothed myself back to sleep by taking many deep breaths into the tightening in my chest. Instead of focusing on what was causing my anxiety, I breathed into the feeling in my body and watched it release.
Curious about my late night woes, I checked in on the moon and yup, it hit full around 1:25 this morning.
When was the last time you looked at the moon? Or noticed the stars, blooming flowers, sun on your face, laughter, or trees blowing in the wind?
The biggest take-a-way I want you get today is importance of slowing down to notice the amazing beauty in the world.
When you slow down, life gets sweeter, meals taste better and you’re less inclined to overeat.
I’m always been intrigued with the moon and it’s effects on us and am fascinated the more I learn about it. I wear the sun and moon on a necklace and picture Jay as the sun, me as the moon and someday we’ll add some stars.
The moon parallels to female energy – yin, grounding, calming and nurturing. And the full moon provides vibrant energy and can ignite your desire to create meaningful change in your life.

At the very least, look up at the sky tonight, take a deep breath, and take in the beautiful, full moon.
